Mission Complete: First holiday of the year

I am now back from my little trip to Spain. I had a lovely four days away! It was so nice just to chill out, relax and not have to think about work... or do any work.  We spent some time on the beach, we spent some time exploring, and I even went for a 3 mile run on the beach one day which was so nice.

The weather wasn't super warm but it was a lot hotter than England and I came back with a tan I was quite proud of.  We stayed in Santa Susanna and although we could have taken the train or bus to another town, Barcelona was close by, we chose not to.  Instead we took walks around Santa Susanna or sat in the sun or on the beach.

We came across a camp site on the beach with caravans and little beach huts, and I couldn't help but think how gorgeous it would be to stay there.  I have been to Spain for a weeks camping in July before, and that was sweaty camping hell.  But in March when the weather isn't too hot, it would be so nice to camp on the beach in Spain.  I could imagine waking up to hear the waves, feel the sand on my toes, and to breath in that fresh sea air.  I think I was born to live on the beach (sadly in reality I live no where near a beach).

It was great to re-charge the batteries and recharged I certainly felt.
