Busy, Busy

I've been so busy lately!  It feels like I haven't stopped.  On Thursday night I went out for a 21st birthday.  I hadn't been on a night out in ages so I was looking forward to it and it was quite a good night.  So hungover Friday though so I spent pretty much all day in bed and ended up missing my lectures!  On Saturday I went shopping to Bluewater shopping centre.  I had never been there before but I was quite impressed!  Saturday night I went off to the cinema to see Project X (it made me want to throw a massive house party!).  On Sunday I went to get my eyes tested - I was almost certain they were going to say I needed glasses, but no, luckily that was not the case.  Or maybe not so luckily because I can't actually see as well as I used to!  I ended up doing work for the rest of the day on Sunday trying to catch up.  On Monday I was meant to go to lectures all day but I overslept and ended up missing them - this seems to becoming a re-occurrence!  So I ended up sleeping pretty much all day - I was crazily tired anyway.  I had the day off uni today and I spent all day doing work.  Almost caught up now!

While I was shopping on Saturday I bought some jeans in the sale from Miss Selfridge and a lovely mint coloured top from Vero Moda (pictures to come!)  I didn't know this shop existed!  I think I had bought one of their dresses from ASOS before but I hadn't heard much about it before.  So I've been browsing on their website and have seen some things I really would like!

Lazy batwing top, £20.78

£22.44

Mini Dress Midnight Blue, £24.94

But I can't buy any of these, I just have to look for now, because I have to save up for the boyfriend's 21st birthday present.  WHICH I HAVE NO IDEA TO GET.  And it's in less than 3 weeks.  Eeeeek!!  Panic!!

I really want a birdcage.  One like this:

But I have no use for one.  I really want one though.  I also have no space for one.  They just look so... nice!

I think I am slowly becoming nocturnal now I don't have to wake up early in the mornings.  I am becoming a proper student!

  5. Oooh I love the orange top! And yes, wouldn't it be cool to buy a birdcage? But I guess you'd have to actually buy a bird if that's the case.. haha!

  7. I have a couple of really cute dresses from Vero Moda - didn't realise they had actual shops though?

Nothing wrong with a bird cage you have no use for - makes me think of that Pottery Barn episode of Friends. Didn't they end up with a purely ornamental birdcage?

    1. I didn't realise they had actual shops either! The one I found was at Bluewater (shopping centre). I got quite excited.
