Spain in Spring: Day One
I have had the last week off work and all I wanted to do was relax and chill out. It's been mental at work recently and I have been working six days a week so I couldn't wait to do whatever I wanted. However the last thing I did was relax and chill out. I have been so busy!! It's always the way.
Then I went and booked a last minute trip to Spain so this morning I was awake at 3am and happy to be heading to the airport. As I am away for the next few days I am going to do a series of pre-planned, outfit posts, showing you the clothes I took to Spain.
I found it extremely difficult to pack as I only took hand held luggage, and I didn't know what the weather could be like. My phone was telling me it would be sunny one day, rainy the next day, and windy the next. So I tried to mix and match my outfits the best I could.

Thursday Shopping Spree
Thursday was such a sunny day! I woke up early, went to a spin class, and by the time I was showered and ready for the day it was looking gorgeous outside. Of course it is still only March so I had to wear a coat but I wore sunglasses for the first time this year!
I headed into town in search of a maxi dress for my upcoming trip to Spain. I had a spending limit and said that I could buy 1 maxi dress, 1 strapless bra and one moisturiser from Lush that I had my eye on. All things I needed, nothing that I didn't need. Well, I didn't get a maxi dress and I didn't even go into Lush but I did buy a strapless bra... as well as the whole of Primark.

Sometimes I like to dress up and go out
All I seem to have done in February is work so when my friends decided to go out for a meal last week I was totally up for it. I had just been on a shopping trip and was excited to wear my new purchases! I believe this is my first outfit post! So please be nice :)

Recycling The Christmas Dress
It's been a while. January became a boring but busy month for me with working loads, going to the gym a lot (sticking to my New Years aims) and doing lots of things but somehow don't have any interesting stories to disclose. Since this blog is supposed to be about my exciting adventures, I took some time out, which I know is not the best thing for such a new blogger but there we go.
I went to a wedding yesterday. When I found out about this wedding my first thoughts were: A wedding, in February, what am I going to wear?!? Thus I got searching for a nice dress to wear that I wasn't going to completely freeze in.
Being unsuccessful in the dress shopping I started to panic a little and the day before the wedding (yes, I am normally this disorganised) I happened upon the dress I wore to my work Christmas party. Perfect! I will probably never wear this dress again so it gives me a chance to get some wear out of it and no one will know it is my recycled Christmas party dress! Apart from anyone who may read this.
I teamed this Warehouse dress with blue shoes from New Look and a bag to match from Dorothy Perkins which was reduced to £7 in the sale.
Of course as it's February and was absolutely freezing I dug a grey coat out of my wardrobe which I purchased from Topshop many years ago. This went perfectly with the whole outfit.
I am not used to wearing heels and the thought of wearing heels all day filled me with dread (almost). So I bought am emergency pair of flat shoes from New Look, for later on in the night, in case my feet became too painful.
There we have it. A winter wedding outfit.
Whilst I was shopping I had a browse in House of Fraser and fell in love with a pair of shoes which were reduced to £39. I bought them as a possible wedding shoe until I found the blue shoes in New Look. I am not sure whether I will keep these House of Fraser shoes. They are so pretty and nice, but I'm not sure when I will wear them and they look like an absolute killer on the feet!!
What do you think?

Christmas Party #2 Cowboy Hat and Fancy Dress
Saturday night, another Christmas party. This time there was a theme. A Disney theme. I had a couple of ideas including Ariel from Little Mermaid which is appropriate for my hair colour, or Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas which is a film I love. But then I went and dyed my hair brown, and I really didn't have too much time on my hands. In fact, it got to Saturday afternoon and I still wasn't completely sure what I was going to wear. I took a trip to a fancy dress shop, spotted a cowboy hat and decided I was going to be Jessie from Toy Story.
Think I was disorganised? I then ironed a white shirt, went to put it on and realised it had a huge stain down the front. Massive fail. But finally I decided on an outfit, even if it did look like I had gone to the minimal amount of effort.
Blouse from Primark, shoes and trousers from New Look, and hat from local fancy dress shop. See! My hair is brown! I still don't expect to see myself with brown hair everyone I look in the mirror, it feels so strange!
Now the Christmas parties are over I can focus on my last few days at work before I get a couple of days off for Christmas. Yay!

Christmas Party #1 Sequins and Silver
Friday was the evening of my work Christmas party. As per usual I left it until the last minute to get a dress. I was starting to panic when at the last minute I fell in love with a dress from Warehouse on the ASOS website which you can find here.
This dress was perfect for me. It is covered in sequins, and I am in love with sequins at the moment. It was the perfect fit, leaving a little bit of room around the waist for food and drink, and was the perfect length.
It was a good night with lots of yummy food, including a lovely Christmas dinner, plenty of drink (perhaps a bit too much), and a good deal of laughter with some dancing to finishing the evening off. Not leaving out the part where we went into town after, I slipped in a puddle of drink and now my knee is purple and very swollen. So accident prone.
Al in all a lovely evening and I am now feeling even more Christmassy.

Today's Outfit
I have certainly made the most of my Monday and Tuesday off. Yesterday I went shopping to Cambridge and today I ended up shopping in Watford, now I have completed all of my Christmas shopping... and may have spent a bit too much money on myself. Oops. But that is for another post.
Today I wasn't sure what to wear as the shopping in Watford is both inside and outside. It was very cold outside, but inside the shops it can get very hot. I ended up wearing burgundy coloured trousers from H&M with my old, slightly muddy boots. I wore a black top from Primark with a silver and black kimono from H&M. Then on top I wore my warm coat from River Island.
If anything, these trousers have taught me that I need to loose weight. I spent the whole day trying not to breathe too deeply in case the button of my trousers fell off as they were so tight!!

It's Tough Being A Third Year
So much work, so little time! I feel like I barely have time to sleep, eat or even breathe!! But I did have time to take a few pictures of the outfit I wore to university today.
I love, love, love my new jacket. Those shoes have also appeared in a few photos and I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of them as they are my new favourite everyday shoes!
I need to catch up on sleep now as a day of studying and essay writing awaits me tomorrow!

Mmmm Chocolate
For ages I have been dying to dye my hair. My faded red hair and light brown roots were really starting to annoy me, but I couldn't decide on whether to go red again, or brown, or stick to my natural hair colour. However in the last week I made up my mind to dye my hair dark brown. So today I went along to Boots, and bought the hair dye.
The hair dye I used was L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in Chocolate (535). I always use this brand of hair dye as it has never failed me before with the colours I have chosen, and it smells absolutely lovely! Here are the results...
If you want to see what my hair looked like previously, then you can do so in my previous post.
I also took a couple of outfit pictures as I am in love with my red tights!
I am so tired, I even look horribly tired, so I think I need a good nights sleep before university and lots of essay writing tomorrow!

Back To University!
Yesterday I packed my cases (I had accumulated far too much over the last few weeks), loaded the car and headed back to university. I wasn't looking forward to coming back, I was quite comfy at my parents house and would have quite happily stayed for another few weeks. However I had classes today so had to come back.
As I had not seen everyone in a few weeks I wanted to look nice. I'm not quite sure why, my housemates have seen me make-up less, wearing pajamas and generally looking like a tramp but nevertheless, I felt like wearing nice clothes. Here's what I wore (with a lovely view of half of my university room):
I also had a haircut yesterday!

After:
Not exactly a lot of difference but I'm trying to grow my hair!
Hope you all have a good week :)

Head To Toe In Primark
I got a couple of deliveries in the post this morning. I love getting post! It's quite sad really but I do like getting a letter or parcel through the letterbox addressed to me. I had bought some nail art brushes and some Lily Lolo foundation (in the Blondie shade if you're interested). I will be testing out the brushes soon.
I am loving hoodies at the moment on those slightly chilly days. What I wore to university today:
When I got dressed this morning I didn't even realise I was wearing all Primark clothes.
After my lectures today I drove back home to my parents house as I had my new laptop waiting for me. As soon as I got home I opened the packaging and turned it on straight away. I was so excited, it felt like Christmas! My new laptop is so sexy and nice and shiny. Pictures to follow!!
